Hi Liz! Dragon Guy and I have also started doing YouTube videos for our healthy habits business. We’ve only recorded/edited 2 videos at this point. I still have a lot to learn with filming and editing, but I’m enjoying the creative process.

We want to get a few more videos recorded before we go live with the channel. There’s still lots to do and learn–I haven’t even put together our banner!

We’ll have to exchange notes and cheer each other on. Very excited for you!

Yup, that's definitely the scarcity vs abundance mindset, thanks for pointing that out :) I used to have a terrible scarcity mindset in the past (to the point where I would literally fret over just $0.10), but I'm slowly changing that too. I hope that it's working well for you and feel free to let me know about your progress :)

Sounds like the scarcity vs abundance mindset. I am also trying to change from scarcity to explore more income generating ideas rather than trying to reduce expenses to the bare minimum

Totally agree with this. I think cutting on costs is an easier solution for most people (definitely easier than most realize!), so it’s no wonder that is the first priority when looking at your personal finance situation. But once you’ve plugged some holes in your spending, focusing on creating passive income streams is the best way to eventually up your savings rate even more. And, equally importantly as you mention, finding something that you enjoy doing to bring in that extra income! Spot on.

Stats are looking good ! I’m also getting my first impressions after 3 months. You do need a LOT of patience for new sites, honestly it’s demoralising sometimes. But lets keep pushing! It will be worth it eventually

Hi Daniel! Thank you so much for taking the time to drop me a comment. I definitely agree that it’s going to take a lot of discipline so I’ll just try my best to power through 🙂

Oh actually I’m not buying that many products now (I’ve barely scratched the surface), just that the niche tends to be extremely expensive. I actually planned out my first 30 affiliate marketing posts, so I’m just buying the products for those posts and no more. I think with those 30 posts I will have a good foundation on my niche site and my YouTube channel and I can start doing outreach after 🙂 I’m not really sure if it’ll work but I’ll just try haha.

And I’m so sorry for taking so long to reply your email. I’ve been avoiding this blog and my niche site during my break, but that’s coming to an end soon and I’ll definitely repyly! Thank you sooo much for your patience and for your support nevertheless 🙂

I think you have the right idea! But it requires a lot of discipline to stick to one thing. I find once the novelty wears off, i really have to force myself to keep going hard. But the payoff can be huge!

Why do you need to buy all the products now btw? Can you not just do a few at a time as your site grows and gets more traffic?
